Mise en scene “A Bronx Tale”

“A BRONX TALE”

I consider this movie here to be a classic, a classic in the mafia world kind of film, it can go along side of movies such as Scarface, The Godfather and many others. The three characters I am about to discuss are the main characters in this movie and they all hold their own personality. You have Robert Dinero who happens to be an actor who plays in most of the films under this genre and can even switch it up sometimes and go into comedy also. You also have Chazz Palminteri who also plays in lots of films under this genre and then you have Lillo Brancato who happens to move onto the show Sopranos after being in the movie business he stood in his acting career.

ROBERT DINERO

In this scene you will sense his strong demeanor as a parent and also his understanding. How he can go from joking to having his son understand his example he intends to set. I have always looked at Robert Dinero as having this strong character and this is why he does so well in these Mafia movies.

Now this second movie he plays in its a bit different “Meet The Parents”. I am sure many are familiar with this movie where is an overprotective dad now with his oldest child and had no intention of ever liking her boyfriend. Especially with all the bad luck the poor guy was having for the first time meeting the family. Below you will find a scene where he confronts the guy about smoking pot where in reality it was his own sons pipe.

So what it all balls down to is he can keep the same attitude in two different genre films as a Robert DInero fan I can usually know what to expect of his movies and that is to be a great actor and play in good movies.

LILLO BRANCATO

Another great actor I never was a fan of the Sopranos which he happened to play in years after this movie. But in this movie he happened to be the one to grasp my attention. The fact that he had a great father at home and his interest about learning the streets and his code. I love the fact that Lillo was a good guy although he had some friends that were bad kids in this movie he had the help of two tough guys to keep him focus. His search for love is what happened to help him to avoid the troubles he could have gotten into. When he went to play in the show “Sopranos” he became a different character he was now a tough guy so it was a bit different.

This scene shows his lover boy self and how he isn’t really like the tough guys he spent so much time with.

The scene below is a scene from the show “Sopranos” he has now become the bad guy but still you can see the fact that it isn’t his lifestyle.

Chazz Palminteri

In his acting he is always a leader not to say that he is a leader of good things but people always look up to him but then he always had those that hated him because of the bad things he had done.

So the scene below is a scene where Lillo looked up to him and got advice from him even on how to treat a lady and how to know if she is the one.

The next scene below is another movie he played in called “Boss Of Bosses ” this scene shows his driver catering to him as he grabs his coat so he can sit in the car but then just a few seconds later he gets shot multiple times. It shows how he always keeps that hatred from some as he isn’t a man that always does good things.
